Ava Collection

Girly and Twirly with Plenty of Pink!

Pink polka dot print tunic with flower print ruffle/lettuce edging at hem, sleeves, and neck. Pink flowers and clear plastic gems adorn the neckline and add just enough sparkle to this adorable tunic.

Pink flowers and dots cover these spunky bike shorts with an elastic waist.

This classic style is sure to be a hit around your house-- between the pretty pink and white polka dots, the flowers at the neckline, and the fullness of the skirt, what's not to love!?

This dress matches with a shortie that is underneath. It is the perfect playground panty to keep your girls covered when wearing a dress and having fun.

Happy Thanksgiving

I am full of gratitude for all our wonderful long time, repeat customers. It is so great to see them. I love to hear the stories about their new grandchildren or a new baby in their life. I appreciate their desire to shop locally. We are a family business and we appreciate your patronage. By shopping with us you not only get the best service possible, because we truly care about you and your needs, but you are helping support families and individuals who work for us.

Read what Local First Utah says about local businesses.

" Local businesses are, in a real sense, the backbone of any community. It is nearly impossible to imagine our neighborhoods, towns, and cities here in Utah without them.

We are not anti-chain—we recognize that there’s room for all types of business in any thriving community. But we also know instinctively that, since local business owners live here, do their hiring here, operate their stores and offices here, buy most of their supplies and products here, pay all their taxes here, and spend their profits here, they obviously contribute far more to our local economies than do chains."

Our store employs 6 part time employees. Three are Brighton High School students, one is a University of Utah student, one a University of Utah graduate and another a Salt Lake Community College student.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts this Thanksgiving week, for allowing us to serve you and care for you. We love you!

Back to School & Work

It is back to school time. It is bitter sweet as I watch my children growing up before my very eyes. I was lucky enough to take the summer off from working at Sundays Child to just hang out with my kids.

We went hiking several times. My goal this summer was to make it to Lake Blanche up Big Cottonwood Canyon. I attempted it two times before I went the entire way up, 2.8 miles up 3000 vertical feet. I made it with the help and encouragement from my husband and kids. It took us about 3 hours to get to the top. The view was spectacular. Too bad I forgot my camera. We spent some time enjoying the view, knowing we would have to make our way back down in the dark. We sang as we trekked down the dark trail. But we made it. What a great feeling and experience.

We also had the chance to visit San Juan Capistrano, California. What a great historic town with it's Spanish Mission. The beaches were a nice treat and we spent time with relatives and life long friends. Then a weekend in Grand Teton. It is a must see. Beautiful.

We had many great trips and memories.

But now I am back to work. The first day back was great and many of our long time customers came in. I always enjoy seeing familiar faces. I can say I have missed my customers and my staff. I am glad to be back.
